Very good valueNov 09, 2011
By Marco This is good extra virgin olive oil from Baja California, the little tail of Mexico between the Pacific and the sea of Cortez.
The price is very reasonable (2x750ml bottles for 25 USD) and definitively a good value. Compared to most Italian or Spanish premium extra virgin olive oils, the flavor is much more subtle but still well balanced and quite refined. It definitively brings to mind olive oils from andalucia - most likely due to the use of Spanish olive varieties. In fact, given it is so hard to find good quality olive oil for sale in the US (see below), this is definitively a good choice.
A note of caution: Olive oil is best fresh and only keeps for up to 1 or 2 years (even if kept away from sunlight and heath). NEVER buy bottles without expiry date. I see often very expensive Italian bottles for sale that have been on a shelf for years and completely rancid (the taste turns oddly sweet with notes of petrol). These bottles had an expiry date (excellent) and the date was very reasonable. Keep in mind that olives are harvested towards the end of the fall each year, so that European and North American oils are at their best at the beginning of each year, while Chilean ones go the opposite way.

Great taste for the priceSep 25, 2011
By Jenny Root This olive oil is simply wonderful, Very light and fruity tasting. I was surprise, because it came in a plastic bottle. And I love that it came with a pop up spout that makes it easy for pouring. And the price was reasonable. I decided to try it after reading the positive reviews on it. It's wonderful with some good balsamic vinegar! So far, it's the only one I use. Try it ! You'll like it !

By Anthony A nice, low acidic EVOO at a decent price in a novel popup spout bottle. I will reorder when the time comes.

Great olive oil at a great priceDec 16, 2011
By The End This olive oil has a wonderful taste and is a great value. At first I was a little disappointed because the bottles are plastic, but that probably adds to the savings. Now, I don't care.

absolutely perfectSep 25, 2011
By Maverick Bravo! I am in love with this olive oil!!!!!! It is probably the best I've ever had, including that which I bought back from Tuscany. Not too fruity or strong so it does not overpower the dish -- it simply complements it.... also like the price and with free super saver shipping this product is hard to beat.
