A friend had given us some panettone over Christmas. My husband loved it and wanted more. I couldn't find it in any of the stores, so I tried online. This is when I found out that it is a seasonal item. I happened to find some in stock, so I ordered 2. They arrived promptly and my husband dived right in. He thought it had great flavor but it was a little dry. I figure because it was out of season it was probably sitting around for a while. I'll wait til closer to Christmas before I get some more and stock up and maybe freeze a few.
