Great TomatoesApr 12, 2011
By Joe These tomatoes are the best I have found for cooking sauce. All of the other brands I have tried were 1/2 water. Some of the cans have arrived dented, but the quality makes up for it.

Very good flavorAug 16, 2011
By Brent Butler I just used these in a beef stew last night and was very pleased with the tomato flavor they added to the stew. The tomatoes themselves are about twice the diameter of grape or cherry tomatoes. My wife just picked them out of the can one by one, mashed each with thumb and forefinger, and dropped them into the stew. Without peels, they cooked down and just became part of the stock.
You can buy these with and without basil added. It looks like a couple of people who reviewed here were shipped the SKU with basil by mistake, and instead of handling their problem with customer service, blamed it on the product. Here's what you do if someone ships you the wrong product. Instead of mis-targeting the product, call customer service and tell them to send the right product, and send a shipping label to return the wrong one. If they won't do that, call your credit card company and deny the charge. It is that simple.

Not sure what the griping is about...Aug 04, 2011

This is a great product and, with the subscribe and save, about half what I would pay at my grocery store (and it's delivered free!) I did not have problems with getting a different kind of tomato than I'd ordered -- I got the regular whole peeled tomatoes. As for the cans being dented, sure, a couple of them are bound to get dented considering it's TWENTY POUNDS OF CANS BEING SHIPPED ACROSS THE COUNTRY. A couple dents are to be expected, folks.
Overall, it's really tough to complain about this (though the price does seem to have jumped since I ordered them ... too bad.)

Love the Product But Watch Out for Dented CansAug 28, 2010
By theprof These tomatoes are FABULOUS and worth the extra cost. My first shipment came in with no problems. Unfortunately when my second one arrived 8 of the 12 cans were dented, two so badly that a can opener can't be used on one end. I am hopeful that the sender will make it right.

didn't receive plum tomatoesJan 22, 2011

I ordered peeled plum tomatoes and received a 12 pack of diced tomatoes instead. Every can has a dent in it which isn't as big of a deal compared to not receiving what I ordered. It would have been nice to have had the option of waiting on additional plum tomatoes (if they were out of stock) vs. them sending me an alternate product. Not too happy about this...
