This product is mostly sugar (it contains only 20% pistacchio butter!!!!). If that would have been listed on the description I wouldn't have bought it in the first place.

The jar was less than 1/3 full. For this price, one would expect an entire jar...full to the top. The product coated the inside of the jar so it wasn't until i opened it to find it is mostly empty. It tastes fine, but what am i going to do with 1/4 cup of pistachio nut cream?

I make cannoli with pistachio nut cream. My regular store's supplier (of another brand) hasn't sent them any stock, so I tried this. Big disappointment. Way too thin, almost watery. The jar was only half full. I won't make this mistake again.

I love this pistachio paste/cream. This brand was specifically called out in a recipe book that I have and I love it. I specifically bought it to make macarons, but used it in some buttercream frosting for cupcakes not too long ago and it was perfect for that as well. I also look forward to using it in homemade ice cream this summer. I don't think the price of the item is bad at all, although I do think the shipping seems a bit expensive, but, since I can't get anything like this where I live, it's worth it. : ) I also don't mind how much sugar is in this cream. I'm using specifically for baking, so that sugar content doesn't bother me.

Excellent taste and texture. I used this product for homemade gelato and was pleased with the results. I did not have any problems with the amount in the jar as had been commented on by two other reviewers. This is authentic pistachio cream from Bronte Sicily known throughout the world as one of the best regions for Pistachio growth.
