These truffles are good but not great. Truffles are hard to come by and I felt lucky to find these online. They were affordable but did not have the intense flavor of others I have tasted. The end result is that you need to use a little more than you would expect to achieve the desired result.

By phillip While I would not expect preserved truffles to have as strong a flavor as the fresh stuff, these were particularly weak, and even a whole truffle in a small omelette failed to register...

I haven't even tried the truffle yet, but the lid was made so poorly that it had opened (when?) and the very small piece of foil tape was ripped. Silly me, I am keeping it --don't want the hassle of a return. But the jar was dry which I didn't notice until I re-read the discription of the product where it said "in liquid". The lid only had like 4 small stops and so turned easily. The truffle wasn't totally dried out.
