5Great product at a good priceSep 10, 2009
By Steven J. Larsen
This product was just what I was looking for. I had to satisfy a taste for truffles after vacationing in Tuscany and going through withdrawl. This truffle cream was great and the price was the best I could find. It makes a fantastic base for bruschetta when topped with crispy fried fresh sage leaves and pecorino romano cheese.

If you love truffles, you'll love this product. If you haven't tried truffles then don't - because you'll become addicted.

I must add a comment regarding the service as well. In the first shipment I received, one of the jars got broken. I emailed Amazon's customer service and within an hour I had a reply that they were sending out a replacement that same day. In a world where customer service can sometimes be non-existant it is worth noting when a company stands behind what they sell and responds so efficiently. Bravo Amazon.

3Good but not greatApr 11, 2011

I bought this since it had some pretty good reviews. I'll keep this short. It's good for cream based sauces and for pasta. The smell is great and very earthy. The paste it self does have it own characteristic flavor. Overall if you want a nice flavor of truffle I suggest buying a high quality white winter truffle oil to finish the dish off with!

5Delicious!Jul 24, 2008

I originally bought a jar of this at a marche' while vacationing in St. Maarten. I have served it with pasta, with shrimp and chicken. It is so yummy! I have used it simply by mixing it with evaporated milk. I am buying more jars today. Opened, it kept for one year in my fridge. I used the last of it tonight. I woudld say each jar makes enough to sauce 4 large servings.

5yummy!Nov 29, 2011

I made my own alfredo sauce for the pasta, added a few spoons of this and it tasted heavenly!
Even after putting the leftovers in the fridge and reheating in the microwave, it maintains its taste. :)

Delicious truffle cream that is hard to find. First tasted in Seattle and loved it in soups and sauces. I put it in fridge after opening and it keeps well. I cook a lot and all my guests have really enjoyed it so far. Highly recommended!
